The STEM Explorer is a Delta College K-12 STEM Outreach initiative funded by a grant from the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation. The staff travels year-round to middle schools, high schools, and community events to promote STEM in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Circuit Building

Build a functioning burglar alarm circuit using a breadboard, battery, resistors, transistor, LED, and alarm.  When the circuit is interrupted (such as a window being opened) the LED will light and the alarm will sound.
